1. Tell us a little more about your business and what you do.
Im a full time Real Estate Professional in Los Angeles and surrounding counties specializing in residential real estate. I dreamed of living in a single family home as a child so now as an adult I have a passion for assisting others who like myself at one point yearn to own a home of their own. I also have a keen interest in bridging the gap of generational wealth via real estate in the AA Community,
My challenge to myself for this year is to help more young men obtain homeownership. 98% of my business is single females but I know there are just as many successful men out there so I’d like to show them that homeownership is attainable. In short, I want us all to fire our landlords and be able to purchase some form of real estate.
2. What makes you stand out from your competition? (Think your uniqueness/specialization/strategy/personality)
I think my uniqueness is that I actually live and grew up in the cities I’m working. I was born and raised in Los Angeles, raised my children in Inglewood, my mom lives in the Antelope Valley, my sister in Victorville, family in the inland empire so whatever city you’re looking to purchase I have a personal connection and frequent the area often. I also don’t just come from a place of service, which is important. I try To treat each person like family and advise them as I would a love one and I’ve found my clients appreciate my honesty, openness, and the fact I am patient enough to answer their questions until they reach an understanding not just answer to say I responded.
3. Why did you decide to do a branding session?
I decided To do a photo shoot based on pages I like to follow. I find that one’s personality can be shown and come to life thru pics. Not just in their smiles, but their style, their eyes. You can connect to your audience via photos and the content you create with those images. Brand photography has attracted to me lots of professional pages on social media so it’s only right I brand myself in the same manner that attracts me to other influencers.
4. What kind of images were you hoping to receive and how were you planning to use them?
The images I was hoping to receive were to show Kisha behind the scenes as well as at work and showcase my style as so many are interested in that as well. So me relaxing at home. I dressed as a professional to meet a client, me with the rich auntie vibes home having a drink. I just wanted a relaxed and professional shoot without being Uber professional with the usual business suits and arms folded.
5. What was your favorite part of your branding session?
I’m not sure if I can pick a favorite part. It was my first session and I wasn’t sure what to expect. Definitely was a task and not just smiling for photos, from picking the looks, matching them with the location, and so on. Brittney made everything so relaxing and it didn’t feel like work at all. It was like a day hanging with a girlfriend. I had no idea of my poses and she was so detailed in assisting me with the poses, fixing my hair to be sure it was right for the shot. I mean She does it all. Definitely made me more comfortable and relaxed that it’s a shoot and to have fun with it and I feel that was reflected in the final photos chosen.
6. How did Brand Coaching help you get clear on your business goals?
Accountability is important and I’ll be the first to admit I have so much on my plate and can often go of course with plans for my business.
Brittney helps you outline each goal and when you want to accomplish it and hold you to it. Then we are following up to make sure it’s done. So of course you don’t want to meet her the next month and you haven’t met your goals
7. Would you recommend a branding session for other small businesses?
I’ve already recommended brand sessions the day of my shoot. It’s so hard to come up with content to post daily when you’re constantly on the go. I have tons of content as a result of my shoot. All you have to do is post it! I posted My first brand photo today and received four new followers from that post in a few hours. Can’t wait until those followers convert to clients as they see a bit of Kish the Realtor via Brand photography.
