Why did you decide to do a branding session?
I have been wanting to do one for quite some time. I made a mood bored and it kinda just sat there until I knew what I wanted to do with it. I worked once with a client doing her hair for her branding shoot and Brittney did her photos. I remember watching them start and I thought omg this looks so fun. And that’s how the idea started really.
What kind of images were you hoping to receive and how were you planning to use them?
Pictures that show my personality. I didn’t want stiff corporate headshots, not that there is anything wrong with those just not my style. I wanted boss babe but fun and to show what it’s like when someone hires me for hair or makeup. I want to use them to create my first website and grow my instagram, maybe start a blog.
What was your favorite part of your branding session?
How fun and conformable I felt. Im not someone who enjoys photos being taken of me, I’ve always been a behind the scenes girl! So I loved the atmosphere and vibe. We had fun with it and it was definitely my personality!
How did Brand Coaching help you get clear on your business goals?
It honestly made me think about things that I didn’t even know I needed to think about before. It helped me create a clear path honestly for my year. Brittany did amazing at getting me to come out of my shell and think about what I actually wanted and put it down in writing so its clear to see and I can always look back for motivation.
Would you recommend a branding session for other small businesses?
Yes! I definitely think it is something to consider when you have a business. It gives you a chance to show you on your side of the business and what you do and who you are.
